June 7th, 2007 — ILS wins top award for innovative entrepreneurship in the Netherlands.
ASSEN, The Netherlands — At the award ceremony on June 7 Intelligent Lectern Systems received a top award in its category in a challenge for best innovative project. Expert judges analyzed 86 projects and ranked quality in planned execution, its regional involvement, leadership and entrepreneurial drive, market experience and likeliness to succeed.
The award is a great recognition and contributes greatly towards realizing a new lectern product category says Henk de Groot, it is based on large touch display systems with presenter centric rewritten Powerpoint interface, completely enhanced and tuned to intuitive support for multiple presenters and presentation delivery.
The company’s Sho-Q software was specifically written to turn any seminar or meeting into a professionally executed event. Simple one touch control start of presentations, preview capability and unique context sensitive controls appearing when needed for embedded media, build slides or animations, notes, jumping to other slides, automatic interval presentation so that the presenter feels really in control. The audience sees a continuous display of presentations, no blue screens, no cluttered desktops, no frantic fixes of hooking up notebooks to projectors. New hardware developments were also part of the project.
